LATEST BANGER NEWS 1500ccish Bangers!
After consultation between Scrutineers, the Promoters and Drivers we are announcing the following changes to the 1500cc Bangers - with immediate effect the class has been opened up to 1600cc for single cam 8 valve engines only.
This allows you to use the Vauxhall 1600, Sierra 1600 and the like. ALL multivalve engines (over 8 valve) must run to 1500cc limit.
ALL twin cam engines MUST run to 1500cc limit.
We hope this will help you in your search for cars in this class.
Looks like our 1500cc Bangers may now be anything but - any suggestions for a new name for this class!!??
VANDEMONIUM SPECIAL
Don’t forget that the Unlimited Vandemonium meeting is now just over a month away on Monday 26 May (1pm). As well as the usual Unlimited Vans we are also running small van bangers (under 1800cc - diesels allowed). This is the only bank holiday of the year when there isn’t any TSR Banger racing on the bill, so why not bring a small van along instead for a bit of fun.
All Unlimited Vans will receive £30 start money on the day and there will be up to 6 merit awards of £50 each up for grabs. Small vans won’t receive start money but will have the usual prize money and four merit awards. Already we are hearing about some of the more unusual big vans that people are getting together for this event.
