219 CLIVE GRIEF
It is with great regret that that we have to report the
news which sent shockwaves through the Saloon Stock
Car World early on Sunday morning when 219 Clive Grief
passed away.

Clive - aged 44 - suffered a fatal heart attack in the
early hours of Sunday morning following a trip to
Mildenhall with son 419 Luke Grief who was a
double heat winner in the 2L Stock Cars that night.

Clive had been a regular in the 2L Stock Cars at Lynn
for a number of years but had allowed his racing to take
a back seat over the last couple of seasons to concentrate
on son Luke'sracing - a decision which has paid dividends
in the Grief camp with Luke making great strides
throughout 2007 with the season seeing him only just
narrowly missing out on wining
the King's Lynn track championship.

Prior to his involvement in 2L Stock Cars, Clive was one
of the top stars in the Trackstar 1300 Stock Car formula
where he was a multi champion - an accolade he also
held at Alwalton Raceway where he competed before
moving to TSR. Clive always kept an eye on the 1300 Stock
Cars and even made a one of appearance in them at Lynn
last year where he gave a typically entertaining performance

Clive was always approachable and friendly and will
be deeply missed by all at Trackstar.

Our deepest consolences go to Luke and the rest of the Grief family.

To enable drivers, fans and staff of the formulas of which Clive was such a major part
to pay their respects, there will be a minutes silence prior to the 1300 Stock Car
White & Yellow Final on 15 March and before the first 2L Stock Car race on
22 March.

A condolence book has been setup for people who wish to leave messages for
the Grief family and can be found here

Clive's funeral will take place at 12 Noon on Friday 28 March at Elm Church
