However, the most consistent presentational effort came 
from Ireland with Team Buckle turning out 4 matching 
Volvo Estates in consistent paint schemes with half oil 
drums mounted on the roof with their racing numbers!
On track, each team raced in 3 of the 10 heats run during 
the afternoon with all surviving cars coming together for 
a huge 41 car Final at the end of the day. For some drivers, 
this racing schedule was never going to happen as local 
Lynn driver 79 Ricky Twell proved when his car was 
comprehensively destroyed in the first race of the day by              
Irishman Steve Anderson. Other memorable race action 
was provided in the third race by Team Stinkbridge veteran 
09 Andy ‘Psycho’ Holmes who went on a one-man wrecking 
spree claiming 345 Richard Lown and Steam Team pairing 
53 Garman and 537 Brunson as his main victims. 
However, the main talking point for fans is predicted to be 
the wrecking train from the fourth heat when old 
adversaries the Blooz Boyz and Team Stinkbridge renewed 
sporting hostilities with Stinkbridge man 11 Darren Race 
taking big shots from 05 Carlos Perez and 200 Steve Farrell. 
Perez was dealt a revenge blow by Stinkbridge man 455 Ricky 
Finney, but the crash that followed involved drivers from all 
over the place with 215 Chris Bull piling flat out into Farrell 
only to take similarly full-bore hits as 192 Stuart Warby, 
16 Mike Flaherty and 451 Willy Blackwell all joined the line 
of wrecked cars.
The fifth race result was declared slightly early when the 
action had to be stopped for 125 Roy Preece whose Volvo
