F1 STOCK CARS SAT 26 MARCH 6.30pm Click here for list of F1 drivers booked to race Joining the 2L Stock Cars this Saturday are the mighty F1 Stock Cars. It is a rather belated first appearance of 2008 for the F1s with the programmed season opener last month falling victim to the snow which swept the country. It looks like the wait will be worth it though as the F1 drivers are once again giving King's Lynn fantastic support with 46 drivers booked in for action. And if the start of the season is anything to go by, fans are in for a real treat with nobody dominating the F1 scene at present and there having been some fantastically open, exciting and action packed racing at every meeting so far this season. Indeed the competitiveness of the F1s in season 08 is shown with there having been 8 different final winners in the 8 meetings staged so far this year - will King's Lynn see the ninth different winner in as many meetings? Well with many King's Lynn specialists yet to register a final win in 2008, don't be surprised if that is the case! This Saturday's meeting looks like being as competitive as the rest with the entry being littered with talent wit no less than 13 red tops booked in for action. World Champion 1 Stu Smith Jnr and Points Champion 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr head the entry with fellow superstars 2 Paul Harrison and 259 Paul Hines also lokking to be in the hnt for the silverware. 16 Matt Newson always excels in the F1s at his home track and he will be looking to be the driver who continues the "different final winner" run - and on his form at the Norfolk Arena he would e short odds to do just that! Other star grade drivers who always perform well at Lynn include 380 Steve Cayzer, 335 Mark Woodhull and 22 Will Yarrow who are all regular race winners at the Norfolk Cick here for more
