F1 STOCK CARS - SAT 26 APRIL - 6.30pm Click here for list of F1 drivers booked to race on Saturday Arena - all will be looking to take some silverware home although Yarrow will have to get used to a different car with him borrowing the old 231 Mark Peters machine for the meeting so he can have a blast around King's Lynn whilst he waits for his shale car to be prepared. With King's Lynn regular 84 Tom Harris sidelined for a month due to an injury sustained at Birmingham it will be left to father Mick to chase the spoils - but life in the blues is not the easiest at present with some very competitive drivers in action including shale love 13 Andy Ford who has transferred his aggressive driving style from F2 to F1 and he will be confident of doing well at the venue where he won an F2 World Semi Final last year. 249 Jonathan Gibson has also made a successful move from F2 to shale F1 racing and he will be looking to add to his impressive tally of victries notched up already - the question is can he do it the race before the Grand National rather than win another GN?! Another significant player in the blues on Saturday will be 97 Murray Harrison who returns to King's Lynn for the first time since being injured on World Final night in "that" incident. Murray is always on the pace at the Norfolk Arena though and it surely won't be long before h is back on the pace! Looking to the yellows, 214 Adam Slater will be hoping not to star in another picture like that on the previous page and do not be surprised to see a race winner come from the yellows with 441 John Lawn, 415 Russell Cooper, 462 Scott Davids, 244 Mick Rogers, 337 Dave Willis and 242 Dave Nicholls allcompetitive arond the Norfolk Arena - do not be surprised if yellow top drivers win more races than the other grades on Saturday because if these guys get away, the big boys will be fully stretched to catch them. With 231 Mark Peters having heavily invested in new kit, expecet him to be amongst the front runners to. 330 Graham Wagstaff always has an entertaining style around King's Lynn but most eyes are likely to be on 212 Danny Wainman who has proved that there is something in those second generation genes with some fantastic performances from white as he debuts in F1 and he will be looking to take full advantage of what will undoubtedly be his final career meeting from white. The drivers have given it fantactic support - make sure you are at THE stock car meeting to be at this weekend - King's Lynn this Saturday!
